IWH is excited to announce the 18th Annual VCU Women’s Health Research Day on April 16, 2024 1-4:30pm. This year’s event will be held in person at the Larrick Student Center on the MCV Campus. This year's conference theme will be Women's Health, Technology, and Innovation.
Researchers at all levels are invited to submit poster abstracts in any research area that focuses on women’s health or sex/gender differences. A $500 prize will be given to the Elizabeth Fries Young Investigator Award for best overall poster by a junior investigator and a $500 prize for the Building Interdisciplinary Bridges award to the poster that best demonstrates interdisciplinary collaboration in women’s health research. In addition, awards will be given for best posters in Basic Science, Clinical and Translational Research, and Community and Public Health Research. Abstracts are due by March 29th, 2024.
