The Institute has built an infrastructure that facilitates and supports women’s health research across both VCU campuses. This includes building relationships with investigators and utilizing interdisciplinary research capabilities in women’s health. IWH remains involved with a number of initiatives intended to enhance the University’s research grant submission capacity, such as actively supporting the Center for Clinical and Translational Research and the Clinical and Translational Science Award grant.
RESEARCH DEVELOPMENT GROUPS
The Institute for Women’s Health convenes researchers, faculty, and students from various schools and departments across the university working on women’s health and sex and gender differences in health to share resources, experiences, and information, and provides a safe venue for these researchers to share information and work together at the outset to initiate research ideas.

WOMEN'S HEALTH RESEARCH PORTAL
The Women's Health Research Portal was established with funding from the National Library of Medicine to promote VCU investigators and research projects in women's health to local, national, andinternational audiences.
